When the used Volkswagen Fox was in a construction phase, the company wanted to produce a relatively cheap vehicle which could really be named a city car. And somehow stylists and engineers managed to do that job as today the Fox is seen by many as the only true city car in the Volkswagen Group portfolio. The car exterior is not very appealing and there are even some opinions that it has a kind of inexpensive styling, but drivers get a lot of cargo and passenger space in return. As the urban jungle is not rather a place to show off with the vehicle, the used Volkswagen Fox received interior with a certain degree of MPV-style flexibility. The car came equipped with two types of engines: 1.2 litre and 1.4 litre petrol units. They are capable of generating 55 BHP and 74 BHP respectively, which is quite enough for maneuvering and average city ride. The sprint from zero to sixty is not remarkable but thanks to it the car offers very good fuel economy. The used Volkswagen Fox is not a car for enthusiast of fast ride; that is for sure. In return it offers solid and sensibly sized city transport which can be parked almost everywhere and is still able to carry all weekly shopping and all family back home.
