The used Altea is a multi-sports vehicle released by SEAT in 2007. The car is a tall hatchback offering plenty of space for passengers and a good amount of cargo room including an under-floor storage area in the boot. Thanks to the combination of the versatility and attractive fresh line, the used SEAT Altea became a very popular model on the second-hand market. It is not a surprise because SEAT's parent company, Volkswagen, guarantees that the vehicle is as well made as an equivalent VW or Audi. The build quality and equipment levels are both high with features such as the stability control system or anti-lock brakes coming as standard. When it comes to driving properties, the used SEAT Altea offers excellent body control and a great ride quality, which is only a little spoiled by the thick pillars between the windscreen and side windows (which decrease visibility). The engine line-up consists of the petrol and diesel units with different capacities. As a big fan of the diesel engines, I would recommend the perfectly refined 1.9 litre TDI, which inflates the car with excellent amounts of power and offers very good fuel efficiency. Overall, choosing a used SEAT Altea seems to be a perfect option for people seeking a comfortable, spacious family car with a quality of build equal to the Volkswagen.
