Citroen designed the Saxo to meet the expectations of drivers who needed an agile car for the city conditions. The main idea was a small size, great manoeuvrability and enough power to travel safety on the motorway. The little vehicle turned into a big success for the company and many people were complaining when the automaker decided to stop production in 2003. Today the only option to purchase one is to get a used Citroen Saxo from the second-hand market. Personally I think that this is the best option for anyone on a low budget that needs cheap city transportation.
